Modified by an unknown Temple, Texas mechanic in the sixties who installed a new Buick V6 crate motor and Austin-Healey side shift 4-speed overdrive transmission for his friends wife.
Bought from the son who was cleaning out his parent's garage.
According to him the car was built for his mom by his dad and she along with his siblings drove the car regularly until about 2008 when his dad passed. Sitting in a garage in Texas since.
Car is very stock other than the engine / trans with dual exhaust and a MG? rear end with tube type shock conversion.
The Fireball V6 was rated at 160hp and 200ft/lbs of torque.
Engine has already been revived and runs well but all hydraulics and brake components will need refurbishment.
If anyone in Texas knows any history on this car it would be appreciated!
